Online Training Course For Teachers

Before kicking off with the curriculum, your teachers receive online training via a 5 hour pre-recorded E-course in the language of their choice (English or Afrikaans).
This video-based easy-to-work-through course covers neuro-motor development and movement and how it relates to brain development and future scholastic success. This course also covers all you need to know to present the neuro-motor curriculum effectively.
As a bonus, all your teachers receive a certificate of completion once they have answered an online questionnaire pertaining to the course.
For your peace of mind, all our courses are accredited with the HPCSA as well as SAPIK. We are also in the process of receiving accreditation from SACE as well as an international institution.

Equipment To Present Movement Classes
​
When you subscribe, you receive a detailed equipment list to know what you need to present both the baby and preschool curriculum to all the children in your school.
You then have the option to expand your existing stock and buy all the additional equipment. Alternatively, you can use readily-available equipment that one can easily find in a home, or you can make the equipment yourself. For this option, you will receive a manual with easy instructions.
If you are based in South Africa, you will also have an option to buy a basic or advanced equipment kit online. We are in the process of negotiating with a few suppliers to get the best possible products and prices for you. The aim is to get the products delivered straight to your door. For more information, please feel free to contact us directly.
Baby & Preschool Lessons
Two detailed baby and preschool curriculums - called Kwanda Fun - are included in this subscription plan. In total, you receive 400 lesson plans on a drip-feed basis, spread evenly throughout the year.
There are 6 lesson plans per week for the babies (0 - 2 years of age). These lessons were written according to the various developmental stages in this age group.

An additional 4 lessons per week is available for the following preschool ages:
2 - 3 years;
3 - 4 years;
4 - 5 years;
5 - 6 years

Screening And Graduation Protocol As Well As Templates

Also part of this subscription plan, is a group-based screening protocol to see how the children improve while participating in the Kwanda Fun program. This is a quick and easy way to monitor the children's progress.
You also receive a protocol that you can follow every time your school's children "graduate" from the baby or preschool Kwanda Fun Program. For this purpose, you have access to pre-made certificates on an easy-to-do-it-yourself software system. Just insert a child's name and surname as well as the name of your school and voila!

Home Stimulation Program

As part of the Pro Subscription plan, you will have access to entry-level services provided by your very own online Kinderkineticist, who will form part of your professional advisory team at school.
You will also get an assessment protocol, checklists as well as reports that can be used to monitor children individually as they pass through the program. This will allow you and your contracted Kinderkineticist to identify possible children who would be in need of further structured support and who would benefit from receiving individual exercises.

Marene has extensive knowledge and practical experience in both the medical, health and educational sector.
Should you be concerned about the development of a child in your school, she will be able to consult with you to provide the best possible intervention or referral, if necessary.
In such a case, Marene will have to gather as much information about the child's development as possible. This will be achieved via medical history forms as well as developmental checklists that can be completed by both the parents and the teacher. These documents will be provided on an ad hoc basis.
In certain cases, additional supporting evidence such as videos or photos may be needed from the school and/or parents.
Together with the insight from your school's teacher, a plan of action can be formulated that will best suit the developmental need of the child.

As an optional service, you have the choice of asking your contracted Kinderkineticist to assess a child online. The fee for performing a general assessment is R495 per child.
You and/or the parents can then ask to receive an individual report from the Kinderkineticist at a fee of R350 per child.
In addition, individualized exercises as part of an online therapy program can then be compiled by the Kinderkineticist and can be provided to both the parents and the school at a fee of R350 per child.
